Pharmacist Learning Objectives

Kory Muto, PharmD, is a distinguished expert in veterinary pharmacy, specializing in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and compounding operations for veterinary prescriptions. With leadership roles at Chewy, Inc., Mixlab Pharmacy, and Wedgwood/Diamondback Drugs, he has overseen multi-site veterinary compounding operations, ensuring compliance with USP 795, 797, and 800 standards, DEA regulations, and state-specific pharmacy laws. Dr. Muto has developed and implemented rigorous quality systems, optimized compounding workflows, and spearheaded innovative solutions for veterinary medications, enhancing safety and efficacy for animal patients. As an adjunct professor and preceptor, he contributes to the education of future pharmacists, shaping best practices in veterinary pharmacy and patient care.
